COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, keg & bottle; Regular.

Barista is a rich roasty coffee stout. A roasty yet creamy mouthfeel caries the subtle taste of Espresso coffee which we add in ground Arabica form at the end of the boil. This beer has the roast bitterness youd expect from coffee but it also has a subtle sweetness in the finish, a real pick-me-up of a beer!

Cask Half Pint at London Drinker Beer Festival, London, March 2014 - Black in colour. Malty; roast coffee, roasty malts, espresso coffee, caramel, coffee grounds, hint of chocolate. Some hop bitterness and slight fruit. Moderately bitter roast coffee malty and dry throughout. Very drinkable. (2014-03-12)

Bottled @ Broken Dreams, Borlnge. Black with a large tanned head, good lacing. Big rosted coffee bean aroma, really fresh grinded coffee. Dry and a bit fizzy mouthfeel. Really nice coffee taste, oily espresso beans, hard rosted notes, espresso, woody almost smoky notes. Dry finish.

Cask at The Falcon, Battersea on 21 Apr 2012. Poured black, with a dense tan head. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and burnt sugar. Fairly full mouthfeel. Initial flavour of mocha, cocoa and dark fruit and was too sweet for me. Finish had some burnt notes, with lingering espresso and condensed milk.

Piana bardzo obfita, kremowa, pięknie oblepiająca szkło. Barwa czarna, praktycznie nie przejrzyste. Aromat, kawa, kawa i jeszcze raz kawa z dodatkiem słodw i ostrych przypraw. Pierwsze co czuć to wysokie wysycenie, potem kawy cała masa, odrobinę wodniste. Przydałoby się więcej ciała, co ja piszę w ogle ciało. Goryczka to w zasadzie gorzka kawa.

Bottle. Fresh ground coffee coupled with tobacco, roast and ash. Unfortunately this beer is flawed with acetaldehyde (green apples) that even dominates the flavour for some time, together with the ashy part. The roast&coffee finish and creamy carbo are pleasant but green apples drag this beer down a bit.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique June 2013. Strong bitter coffee aromas permeate the air when this deep black beer is poured. Bitterness in the form of coffee beans fills the mouth.
