330ml bottle, Coppers, Ncl. Love the caramel aroma coming from the big hops, lures you into a bit of a false sense of security. I expected a really soft creamy palate, which you just get on the front of the tongue, but, at the back, there’s a really tangy, sharp, refreshing bitterness, with almost acidic citrus late on. Poured with a thin, clean white head and a really nice gold appearance. Another cracker. Scopey (15522) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2012
Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is leaf, green hop, farmyard and manure. The taste is grass, resin, leaf, leather, hay, spice, wood and resin, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and low-moderate carbonation. Alright. Barely any head, OK lacing. Haribo strawbs, green gummy bears and Barratts fruit salad on the nose- something I’ve recently come to associate with ethyl acetate from unsuccessful/badly aerated homebrews. Ultra-thin body. Overly bitter- not much allowed to shine through flavour-wise. Slight headache throb. Was definitely expecting more. harrisoni (19194) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2012

Bottle from Appellation. Pours a light golden colour with a fair white head. Interesting citric aroma with grapefruit, lemon and tangerines. Similar flavours and quite bitter with lingering grapefruit and tangerines again. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Very nice. AshtonMcCobb (6871) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 23, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours golden with a slim head and virtually no bubbles. The nose has floral and grapefruit. The taste has pine and grapefruit pith with just a nice hint of maltiness in the background. The palate is medium bodied and textured with a fresh finish. Overall, good scooper! madmitch76 (25382) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2012

Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Shared with Keen. Clear gold beer, good bubbly head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish pale malt balances nice hops. Clementine and tangerine. Nicely joined up. Overall a sweetish pale ale but does have some mild bitter linger.
