Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Shared with Keen. Clear gold beer, good bubbly head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish pale malt balances nice hops. Clementine and tangerine. Nicely joined up. Overall a sweetish pale ale but does have some mild bitter linger.

Bottle from Great Grog. Very hazy amber brown colour, reasonable head. Biscuit, resin tropical & citrus frut aroma. Citrus hop flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Another good Summer Wne pale ale.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with a slim head and virtually no bubbles. The nose has floral and grapefruit. The taste has pine and grapefruit pith with just a nice hint of maltiness in the background. The palate is medium bodied and textured with a fresh finish. Overall, good scooper!

33cl, new exclusive English brew Anno 2012, from The Bottle Shop Canterbury, complex bitter brew, heavily bitter/woody and slightly fruity, balanced, cloudy, good head, nice brew

Bottle @ The Earl of Essex. Cheers to Leighton for the pour! The appearance is medium gold with a big white head. The aroma’s dried grass, some bretty funk, driftwood, and marshmallow pie. The taste is strong brett, wood, light lemon peel. Chalky yeast. Some earthy grass and dirt. This basically tastes like a hoppy saison. It’s interesting to see how the infection’s changed this beer! An interesting outcome.

3.2
Scopey (16223) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2012
Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is leaf, green hop, farmyard and manure. The taste is grass, resin, leaf, leather, hay, spice, wood and resin, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and low-moderate carbonation. Alright.
