Tap East Birthday Bash. Keg. Cloudy amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, fine carbonation. Smooth creamy malt supports resinous hops. Thick orange and orange marmalade. Lesser peach and tropical fruits.Touch of fresh tangerine. Never too bitter, just lovely fruits. Finishes smooth.
Keg at The Hanging Bat. Clear amber body with a thin white head that holds well. Average carbonation. Great lacing. Incredibly pungent tropical fruit hit - lemon, pineapple and mango. Delicious flavour of Um Bongo, Lilt, caramel, lime, mango and lemon. Medium body with a oily mouthfeel. Lively carbonation fizz. A fantastic beer - a real hop bomb. Keg art IMBC 2013. It pours hazy orange-amber with a tiny white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, marmalade, squash, sherbet and a touch of barnyard. The taste is juicy, orange, grapefruit, tangerine, Five Alive, pine, resinous, toast and earth and a touch of alcohol with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Lovely tropical fruit character. Very drinkable.
