Keg at the bat... Hazy amber... Thin white head... Dry zezty toffee nose... Dry fruit front... Sift sweet hop... Light passion... Quite bitter woody finish McNeillR (2329) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 29, 2013
Golden orange, thinnest film of off white head crumpling into a fight e Fairly ringed effort. Unsavvy and disappointing half peeled clementine nose, simple but lacking any impact. Sumptuous and soothing orange, drip of papaya brightening things up towards the middle. Comforting pat on the palate bitterness, edging to a grippy oiliness on the finish, tucked in carbonation. Just the right side of quenching rindy dryness to finish and gum massaging on the linger. Camons (13387) - Hasselager, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2013
I’m assuming the build for the Devil Loves brews is similar, and long may my favourite single hop UK series continue, put this lacked a full on Sauvin assault. Nose was distant and roof of mouth fresh pine impaling missed, the quench was superb. Fantastic nonetheless.
