India Pale Ale
Diablo is our flagship IPA, loaded with US hop varieties, dominated by the Citra variety. Big tropical flavours & aroma punctuate, mango, lychee & papaya fruits abound, with notes of resinous pine leading to a lasting bitterness. A devilishly good US West Coast inspired IPA.

Flasche. Leicht trbe, strohgelb. Wenig weier Schaum, verschwindet schnell. Duft nach Waldbeeren und Blumenwiese. Etwas Stachelbeere. Bitterer Einstieg, wenig Malzkrper. Leicht, kaum noch florale Aromen. Bitterkeit berwiegt. Ok.

Keg at Brewdog. Hazy yellow, still, small ring of white head. Aroma is musty, shed, passionfruit, some ash. Body is medium, some spritz, pretty smooth. Taste is light biscuity malt, pithy citrus, peel, grapefruit, background pine, dry and crisp with a soft bitterness. Decent.

330 ml bottle. Clear, golden body with a small, lacing off-white head. Nice and strong aroma of ripe citric fruit, grapefruit, lemon, tropical fruit and hint of malt. Flavor is refreshing fruity as in aroma, sweet malt and good bitterness. Nice balanced body and a long lasting aftertaste of sweet malt and fruity bitterhops. Nothing especially really, but definitively well-made and really refreshing. A very fine IPA

0.33l bottle. Not much of a head on this one. What came on the pour quickly fades into a white islandy and sidesticking filmy thing. The beer itself is golden orange and clouded. Smells nice. Fresh grassy hops, its slightly mealy in a way. Tones of fresh citrus fruits, orange zest and mild birch juices also detected. Yeah, I like the nose here. Tastes pretty darn nice as well. Freshly tropical we have lots of pineapple, citrus and passion fruit. Not mealy at all in the taste. It has a good oily feeling in the mouth and its just below average on the carbonation. Really refreshing and easy to enjoy this. Well hopped undoubtedly. Bitter orange zesty finish with grapefruit lingering in to the late hours. Nice! 18.07.2014
