India Pale Ale
Diablo is our flagship IPA, loaded with US hop varieties, dominated by the ‘Citra’ variety. Big tropical flavours & aroma punctuate, mango, lychee & papaya fruits abound, with notes of resinous pine leading to a lasting bitterness. A devilishly good US West Coast inspired IPA.

On tap at The Rake, London. Nice looking pour, a well carbonated, bright glowing gold. Nose is sweet and hoppy, gives the impression of potency even though it’s not a double IPA. Body is medium, palate a bit slick. Flavors are hardcore pine and hop resin, bitter all the way with just a perfunctory nod to the sweetness in the nose. Not bad.

Keg at Spout Cafe, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, some lemon marmalade, slight lime, a hint of pine and subtle pale malts. Taste of orange, lemon, grapefruit, maybe melon, a hint of lime, subtle pine and slight crackery malts. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A long, dry, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. Lots of jellied, citrusy fruits and a long, dry, bitter finish. Crisp and clean too. Very good.

colui72 (989) - HONG KONG - AUG 27, 2016
Cloudy golden with a huge frothy head. Delicate aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. Taste gets the hops much more intense than its aroma: tropical fruits are strong, and so are hints of citrus and pine. Very fresh and tasty, good summer ale.

MrTipple (4803) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2016
Citrus fruits, some grapefruit, bread and sweet grain malts. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. Sweet, overripe fruits, thinking oranges, grassy and floral hops, full bodied, soft carbonation. Beautiful IPA, nice, full-bodied aroma and palate. Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico.

Erzengel (8626) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 14, 2016
On cask @ Evening Star, Brighton. Fruity smooth beginning. Hints of sticky floral hops, sweetish body. Round and fresh aftertaste with a grainy sweetness and floral sticky hops.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy pale straw coloured with strong citrus and very bitter pine flavours followed by woody, more pine and grapefruit on the finish. Superb!

teorn88 (7671) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 19, 2015
Backlog rating. Keg at CPK, London. It pours a clean golden color with medium off-white head. Aroma is rich and fruity, lightly sweet, with big resin and grapefruit, some mango and melon. Taste has some resinous hops bitterness, some mango sweetness, some light citrus grassiness and tanginess. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, good honest IPA

CacheManyHose (713) - HONG KONG - OCT 10, 2015
Beertopia 2015. Hoppy, resinous, faint malt, slight corn. Body is slick, slightly metallic and sweet. Not bad but not great.

HKdIPA (799) - HONG KONG - OCT 10, 2015
