Backlog rating. Draft at Tap East, London. It pours a clean amber / copper color with medium tan head. Aroma is lightly sweet and earthy, with notes of dried leaves, toffee, roasted malts. Taste has some pine and citrus, on top of the earthy dried leaves and wood notes. Some lingering brown sugar sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, good

Keg at Brewdog Shepard’s Bush. Clearing up the last of the tap takeover. Hazed deep redwood brown coloured pour with a lasting thin creamy head. Aroma is sharp lemon, brown bread, little mineral and a delicate floral character. Nose is strange for the colour of the beer. Flavour is nicely blended nutty / brown bready malts with citrus lemon hop. Hop comes across as a little soapy. Lingering brown malts, honey and a little oerfumme/ pollen character. Palate is medium light with a nice semi dry finish and highish carbonation. Pretty well put together beer.

Keg at the Euston Tap. It pours hazy deep amber with a small beige head. The nose is wood, resin, brown bread, toffee and orange. The taste is bitter-sweet, pine, resin, caramel, stewed orange, toasty grain, light spice and dried fruits with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and rather drinkable stuff all in all. Mighty decent.

Euston Tap. Keg. Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and a little crisp. Smooth airy malts, mild sweetness, little caramel. Hops are piney orange with hop spice. LIght floral notes and a minty coolness. Smooth and softish finish. Comes together well, pretty drinkable.

Keg at Draft House. Ruby red, hazy, small off-white head, very light lacing. Aroma has carrot juice, maybe passionfruit, a touch of sour raspberry. Body is light, some spritz, pretty foamy. Taste has burnt toffee, a little ash, wood chip, maybe clove. Nice, interesting.

On tap at Tap East Stratford. Darkish brown beer lasting cream head. It’s an ok American brown. Maybe a little light on the malt and hops and too over carbonated. Some ok sweetish malt some vaguely bitter hop on the finish. Ok.
