Cask from The Ale House, Chelmsford. This is a delicious, easy to drink milk stout. Very dark with a good head - no beer could look better! Thick, excellent texture. Milk chocolate aroma. Best beer of the year so far...
Keg at Spit and Sawdust, Southwark, London, UK. It pours dark brown with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, candy. Taste is medium sweet. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Overall not bad. john44 (3392) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2017
Cask Half Pint at London Drinker Beer Festival, London, March 2014 - Black in colour. Very malty; roast malts, lots of milk chocolate, some dark chocolate, caramel/toffee, some coffee. Fruity; hint of dark fruits. Hoppy; slight hop bitterness. Super smooth. Sweet chocolate malty throughout. Liked this a lot. The Beer of the Festival for me. Lovely Sweet Stout! (2014-03-12)

Bottle 33 cl. Pours dark brown with a warm, clear reddish glow and a beige head. Very downplayed aroma, mostly sweet licorice and then....somewhat tart and lactic? Body is fairly light, sweet, not overly roasty and again I get a slightly tart sensation. Not sure if there’s a slight lactic infection rumbling down there? 260916 Mister_Li (1564) - GERMANY - SEP 9, 2016

Keg at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A black colour with a fizzy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, some caramel, slight dark fruits and subtle spicy hops. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, some coffee, slight vanilla, a little lactose and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dryish, fruity, roasted bitterness in the finish. More bitter than sweet for a milk stout and also quite fruity, a decent amount of dark fruit flavour. Lively but drinkable. gunnfryd (15257) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2016
