UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Cask at The Rake, London. Pours dark brown with a small, beige froth head. Dark malt nose, some milk chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavor, chocolate syrup, dark bread, light baking cocoa, faint earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Tap at CPK - London. Pours brown with a foamy beige head. Very pleasant lacto roast aroma. Medium sweet flavor with sturdy roast, some mocha, light tobacco. Delicious. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Medium sweet finish with great milk chocolate character, some dirt, more tobacco. Outrageously smooth and creamy. Delectable. (4.2)

Black color, with large frothy beige head. The aroma mixes roastiness with a suspicious sourness. Quite smooth, with good roasty flavor, accentuated, and resiny bitterness, but also some light sourness.
Probably once good, but lightly infected.
