Pours dark brown with hazy tan head, roast barley and licorice nose. Light carbonation, medium bodied with roast barley, chocolate, coffee and long lactose sweet finish. So much better than mikkeller’s!
Cask at Maltings. Pitch black with a thin brown head. Amazing cafe latte nose, slight dark chocolate and just a touch of roast malt. Ruby black with a gorgeous creamy head, aromas of chocolate and creme de cassis. The red currants are back on the flavour, with dark chocolates not much of coffee, and salty caramel. Medium to light bodied, it is still silky creamy on the palate. Gorgeous shit! I love it! Absofuckinglutely!

The aroma of dark malt and roasted malt. The taste is quite sweet and roasted malt, chocolate and dark malt. Moderately bitter which fills the upper part of the mouth of a weak moment. AROMAT: To co lubię, czyli dużo mlecznej czekolady w aromacie, wyraźny kokos, słodkie kakao, delikatna kawa, piernik.

[cask at the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Black pour with a generous bubbly beige head. Aroma of sweet mocha, toasted malt. Lovely rising sweetness on the palate, the beer starts off roasty but becomes almost toffee-like in its sweetness. There are hops in there as well, a slight resinous quality that works really well with the sweet, almost creamy finish. Reminded me a bit of Teleporter. On tap at The Craft Beer Co. Brighton. Black with cream head. Sweet, but not overly so, like these can be, creamy, loads of chocolate malts, there is a burnt note coming through to the tongue with a bitterness to balance the creamy note. Full and a pleasure to drink.
