Draught @ Akkurat. Pours cloudy with a creamy white head. Hoppy! Grapey, piney... red orange. Long almost medicinal bitterness in the aftertaste. A touch of caramel. This must be one of the most bitter beers I’ve tried from britain. Theydon_Bois (21484) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2012

Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxfordshire, Wednesday 12th September 2012 Pours golden with a small clean white head. Fruity, tasty beer with an impressive hoppy bite. The hops rip through leaving a slight dryness, they are really punchy, citrussy and tangy, this really is very good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle from Cotteridge Wine; clear golden amber pour with thin white head, big grapefruit and pine hop aroma, the aroma comes through in the taste with slight caramel and good level of bitterness for an APA. Very enjoyable.
