Cask - The Antelope (Surbiton) Beer Festival in June 2017 - Dark brown in colour. Medium foamy tan head. Good lacing. Lightly roasty malts, caramel, some chocolate. Dark fruits. Bittersweet roast malty and fruity throughout. Tasty for low ABV. Likeable. (2017-06)

Dark blond colour with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have some toasted malts. Smooth and creamy texture. Hints of cocoa.

chinchill (4935) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Cask pour at the Stockbridge Tap (Edinburgh). Dark mahogany body, clear with an excellent light tan head that leaves a full coat on the glass. Mild flavor (of course); mildly bitter; leans towards hoppy for style. Light body with good carbonation.

wheresthepath (2318) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2016
Cask at the Fox & Hounds, Reading. Brown with a loose cream head. Roasted malts with a little sour fruit and cocoa. It’s just OK.

ManVsBeer (10264) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2016
Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Darker golden-brown, clear, with a glow and a frothy head. Includes a mix of dark malts and roasted malts that are stated enough in this relatively easy drinking mild. There’s a very mild nuttiness in here too.

Toasted malts, light dark fruits, light coffee, light citrus fruits. Clear, dark brown, medium, frothy, beige head. Light bitter. Toasted malts continue, burnt earth, juicy citrus fruits, coffee, cacao. Nice Mild, good aroma, a touch weak in the palate. Cask at Stormbird, Camberwell.

allmyvinyl (10495) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 4, 2016
Cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Pours clear red-brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of milk chocolate, berries. Taste is fruity, some coffee notes. Nice mild.

3.6
McNeillR (2313) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2016
Ruby brown hazy and a slim tannish head with soft lacing. Nose is a little peppery and oaty initially, but then then rich fruity roast jets in with a tired brown sugar flatness. Initial taste is a roast with dogmition, lean and sweet with a decent stepover of earthy bitterness. Carbonation is slim and mouthfeel a touch thin. However finishes strong and sweet, charred veg and soft roast linger. A striking mild, not even for the "dark mild" deScription.

Cask, Marble Arch, Manchester

jamestulloch (4063) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 24, 2016
Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Clear amber/ruby body with a dense beige head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, earth and plum. Flavour of berries, weak filter coffee and a tangy, bitter finish. Thin body with a smooth, creamy texture. Subtle and drinkable - exactly as a Mild should be.
