Red Hop Ale
Rouge is our Red Hop Ale, deep ruby red in colour, dark malts provide real depth to the body of this beer which provide a great platform for hops such as Simcoe & Centennial to be painted on. The result is a deeply rich malty/hoppy marriage of styles. Deliciously moreish at any time of year.

Bottle from A Tutta Birra, Milan, bb 30/6/2013
Hazy amber color, with medium sized head. Very nice aroma of fruity hops, fresh and mellow, with a touch of tropical fruits (passion and pineapple). The mouthfeel is round but quite dry; strong flavor of caramel, and strong bitterness; there are lots of hop resins and some orange fruitiness, but also too much character from the yeast, leading to some astringency in the final, and possibly some suspicious sourness too.
Not well balanced.
