Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Dark brown with a creamy off-white head. Has some extremely light and milky roasted malts throughout its character. Feels a touch thin in the palate. NosirIwont (2518) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2015
Bottle. 5.0%. Best before 31.05.15. 10 cl. sample. Pours a dark brown, with a small, disappearing off-white head. Roasted aroma with a coffee note and a hint of chocolate. Roasted, sweet liquorice flavour. Somewhat watery, and with a weird note which tastes like polymer clay smells. Same finish, dry, with a lingering cigarette smoke note. Meh. 01.05.15. gegwilson (3676) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2015
Bottle from Heaton Hops. Pours almost black with a cream head. Nice cocoa aroma. The taste is slightly metallic with light spice and burnt toast, plus a little chocolate. Pleasant and drinkable, but not a great porter. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2015
