Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours rich brown with a bubbly, beige head. Smells like s’mores, with dubtle dark fruit notes as well. Autumn Brew Review, 2012. Dark brown with a thick palate. Low carbonation. Full flavored, much more so than modern Guinness. Roasted grain and a very light smoke character. Thick palate, a great stout. jackl (8301) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Cask @ GBBF ’12. The pour’s deep brown with no head. The nose is nice sweet chocolate milk, some grass, and roasted cedar wood. Mildly floral and fresh aromas. The taste is more of the same. Rich chocolate malts balanced by charred wood, light delicate hoppy finish. Medium body, easy to drink. Very well integrated. Good flavors. Nicely played! oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 19, 2012
