12 oz. bottle. Poured a dark deep brown color with a khaki head that dissipated faster than I would have hoped. Taste of sweet malts, cocoa and roasted malts with a bitter finish. Medium carbonation, medium body.

[Tap] Pours a deep shade of brown. Wispy brown head. Hazelnut and burnt caramel aroma. Brown sugar, chocolate and general porter roastiness thoughout. Creamy mouthfeel almost suggests hints of lactose. This was a pretty good beer, in my opinion. Tasting notes from 2/2014.
