tap at Tracy’s Saloon for int’l stout day, what more can I say this beer is pretty well defined and true to the style, its a flaked smooth bodied stout with all the essentials, not a strong tasting brew but a nice first beer, or a great dark beer to fool your friends. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2012
Black with whispy, tan head / Dry, earthy, toasty nose of coffee and chocolate / Medium body, a touch thin, grassy and sour, / Weedy, sour flavors of chocolate, dark roast coffee, and caramel / Pretty much dreadful. Wonder if something is wrong with this barrel. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2012
On nitro. Creamy, dark, lovely chocolate notes. Coffee notes were subtle, but nice. Good stuff. jandd1983 (4544) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - SEP 25, 2012
Sampled at the Artisans Craft Beer Festival 2012. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt and nuts. The taste was the same. A good Oatmeal Stout. Steasy66 (1158) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 9, 2012
At muddy pig. Black with 1 finger white head. Aroma is just a hint of roasted malt. Flavor is pretty standard oatmeal stout. almost overly smooth on nitro.

Pours like Guinness. Tastes milky, choclatey, and delicious. Smells like heaven. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Nitro pour. Black and brown color with thick tan head. Sweet and milky aroma. Very roasted flavor with chocolate and sweet caramel tones and hints of smoke. Full bodied but not overly sweet or thick. Enjoying on a summer night. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUN 29, 2012
Draft at Hangar. Pours dark with about a finger of dark tan head. Aroma and taste of coffee and chocolate. Overall, great. I would love to drink it again. Frank (4225) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Seems to be on nitro from the Summit bar in the Minneapolis airport. Garnet black w/ a big creamy head. Chocolaty with a touch of coffee. Slightly sweet and slightly tart. Medium bodied w/ very gentle and creamy carbonation. All these nitro beers are about the same to me but I guess this better than most. chicowv (478) - Canaan Valley, West Virginia, USA - FEB 25, 2012
On tap Rock Bottom: Pours dark caramel brown, not completely black. Large tan head sticks around. Aroma of bready malts, caramel and chocolate. Taste is mellow, not much oatmeal or stout. Palate is thin but smooth, kind of creamy. Not bad, but not great or interesting.
