COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While it may resemble a popular Irish Stout, our Oatmeal Stout is quite different. Most notably it's sweeter. Chocolate, coffee and caramel flavors round out this smooth, full-bodied beer.

Deep black color, opaque in the relatively dim lighting of the restaurant. Light carbonation. 3/4 inch off-white to tan creamy thick head. Attractive lacing clings as you drink The verbal deScription does not do it justice... this is a gorgeous looking beer. Malty sweet aroma with hints of roastiness. Moderately thick mouth feel, very smooth and creamy. A bit of carbonation apparent to the tongue. Matly, smokey, hints of cocoa flavor. Slight bittering in the middle. Clean, crisp, slightly bitter finish. Absolutely wonderful.

Keg @ Lyndale Tap House. Deep brown with a creamy tan head. Attractive beer. Pleasant nose. Sweet without being sharp or cloying. Oatmeal cookies. Cocoa powder, chocolate milk. Mellow coffee. Sweet and creamy flavor. Chocolate cookies. Mild roast on the finish. Silky, full mouthfeel. Good stuff.

ON nitro at the golden saucer. Good flavor but lacks depth. For me, the profile ends with a little bit of a watery finish.
