Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises. Slick75 (30) - - OCT 19, 2017
Very boring Oktoberfest. It looks like a red lager. The aroma smells sweet, but the flavor is not caramel. It's not offensive but doesn't trigger the "fall sense."

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2017 Draft. It poured a gold color with a white head and lacing. The aroma was agrainy malt with some caramel flavoring. The taste was slight bitter with a little after taste on the finish. ghostbeer (251) - Nebraska, USA - SEP 23, 2017
Golden with a thin head. Big malt nose, no noticeable hop character to speak of. Really quite nice and not bad at all. StoutBeerReviews (307) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 13, 2016
Much lighter color than typical Octoberfest, little too much carb for my liking, reminds me of some cheaper macro lagers. Probably has lots of flavor, but its unfortunately masked by a distinct alcohol taste. Could have done a better job of working around the 7.1 abv. Don’t get me wrong, this really isn’t bad, but style wise, it is definitely beaten out by staghorn or Sam Adams
