Nice craft Oktoberfest beautiful oranger copper color and nice light taste. Lite taste makes it much more drinkable than some of the heavier styles. For the price you can't go wrong ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Much lighter color than typical Octoberfest, little too much carb for my liking, reminds me of some cheaper macro lagers. Probably has lots of flavor, but its unfortunately masked by a distinct alcohol taste. Could have done a better job of working around the 7.1 abv. Don’t get me wrong, this really isn’t bad, but style wise, it is definitely beaten out by staghorn or Sam Adams

Pours a orange-bronze color. Some light sediment. Pretty good carbonation, but hard to observe because of the sediment. About two fingers khaki head. Long lasting. Very good retention, good lacing. Very nice.

Aroma is malty. Caramel, toffee. Bread crust. Light maple syrup. Either metallic or alcohol aroma.

Taste is sweet and caramel. Lots of malt. I taste some hops, and it’s weird because it’s right on the borderline of noticeable bitterness. It’s hard to describe. But there’s an underlying dankness in there too.

Mouthfeel is medium body. It’s a little metallic. I don’t necessarily taste the alcohol, but I can feel it in my mouth, it has that burn. There’s a bite right at the end, it’s a little difficult to swallow.

Overall, it’s not bad. It’s a high ABV for the style, and I don’t like them that high. A little too much metallic taste. But otherwise, it’s solid. I probably would recommend it. But there are so many of these out there, there are plenty of better options, so I don’t see myself buying it again.

Summit does a consistently respectable job with capturing German authenticity. Their Oktoberfest is no different. Copper color. Malty aromas redolent of dark bread. Caramel and toast notes. Minimal hop character. Rich and smooth. Finish is quick and clean. Pretty tasty.

December 4, 2015 - bottle at a company event. Best option available and surprised I had not yet rated. Nice flavor and easy to drink.

12 oz. bottle from a friend’s house. Pours a mostly clear orange with a small off-white head and some visible carbonation bubbles. Notes of caramel and toasted malts, spiced cracker, faint fruit, sugars, straw, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, malty mouthfeel. Well-executed Oktoberfest.
