COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re proud to announce the new Summit Sága IPA, a decidedly different hop-forward brew due out in early May 2012. The beer has pronounced hop flavors and aromas of kiwi, passionfruit, apricot and gooseberry. Clean, assertive bitterness with balancing Pale malt characteristics. We hop it with the rare New Zealand Rakau hop along with Citra, Centennial and Amarillo. Named after the Norse Goddess of Poetry, who was the God Odin’s drinking companion... also, it was quite a saga to pick a name!

Had it after a Zombie Dust so keep that in mind, also a bit cold. It is very citrus rindy. Nice hop flavors.

Fresh bottle from Capone’s. A bold minty spicy peppery IPA that stands out as the aftertaste is still on my palate some time after consumption. Deep yellow with good retained head. Middling mouthfeel. Good drinkability. Invigorating aroma.

12 oz bottle. BB 11/27/16. (Little Brown Jug) Biwabik, MN. Cloudy orangey golden color with a small off-white head. Orange, fruity hops, mild bitterness, mild yoghurt notes and sweetish malt in the aroma. Not bad. The flavor is fruity and piney hops, mild bitterness, dryness and malt. Pretty decent IPA. A bit thinnish though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2016 Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear orangish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grassy hops with a decent amount of pine and grapefruit backed by some earthy grains. Flavor has grassy hops throughout with earthy grains and growing grapefruit and pine in the finish.

Bomber @ bnielsen13. Pours a very hazy, bright orange appearance with an off white head. Tropical fruit, mango, spicy hops, light toast in the nose. Moderate high sweetness and bitterness. A little thick mouth feel. Some caramel and pineapple and citrus. A little old bottle but fine.

Squat bottle from Capone’s. Pours clear dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is...oh my God, Bob Griese, lemme tell ya bout the nose. A huge concoction of that great Citra hop that has quickly become my favortie; tons of tangerine, honeydew, kiwi, mango, passion fruit, pine nuts, resiny sticky hops and tropical fruit all over the place, and malt to spare. The taste is that great Citra hop tropical fruit flavor, complex, with caramel malt to balance. Finishes hoppy and fruity, this one is awesome.

12oz bottle, best by 10/22/12, from Party Source. Mildly hazy yellow-orange color. Good biger foamy off-white head. Citrusy hop nose. Some loose lace. Light, softer smoother carbonation. Malty bitter sweet taste. Caramel hops. Some spicy soapy hops. Light floral. As it is, this is a pretty unappealing IPA. Deserves a re-rate from a fresher example.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle is clear yellow-orange, pour is clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight onion, nice pineapple, tropical fruit, hints of nice biscuit and vanilla. Taste is a nice mix of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, hints of vanilla, touch of biscuit and grain, finishing with some pine and bitter. Nice!

12 ounce bottle thanks to Kyle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light nose of lemons, some biscuit, a bit of marmalade. The flavor is medium bitterness, big oranges, toasted malts, almonds, Amarillo is pretty clear. Quite nice.
