Tap @ Muddy Pig. Pours a deep orange, minimal head. Flavor is malty and straightforward, with a double hop blast at the back end. Very dry and pinelike, with some citrus notes. Not a bad beer, but somewhat one dimensional and very hop forward.
Light amber to golden in color with a tall ecru head. Decent lace. Aromas of green hops and, clover honey and light caramel, marzipan and lightly toasted malt. Fairly thin in feel. Light pale malt flavor with a rather sharp bitterness. Fairly acidic. Hot summer IPA for me. 6/11

Reviewed from notes. Drank fresh early last year. Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is full of orange, pine and bread. The flavor is similar with some hoppy orange and pine notes as well as some grass and a medium amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pours a very lightly hazed orange color with a heavily pocked creamy head. Aroma has a strong MO type nose with a lot of cascade hops - grapefruit, light grass, light tropical fruit. Flavor is full of cascade hops and light toasted grainy malt. Body is light, mild carbonation rate, light dry finish. Okay brew. Has enough body to hold the flavors and is refreshing. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 17, 2013
(12oz bottle) clear gold, wispy white bubbles. Nose of grapefruit skin oils, earth, and herbal. Taste of earth, grapefruit oil, bitter, with a dry bitter linger. Nuffield (4245) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 25, 2012
This is an o.k. beer, to be sure, but I would much prefer if they would celebrate their anniversaries with a crazy, massive beer. But I guess we’re Minnesotans, aren’t we. Mustn’t be too coastal, too pretentious and self-absorbed. What’s here is a significantly hopped beer with a classic grapefruit/pine front and a substantial bitter finish. Normal appearance and body--clear golden with moderate carbonation. Fine. Bottle.

On tap at 3 Squares at a release party.
Pours kinda orange with decent hop aroma and taste. Not overly bitter and lacks a lot of what I like in an IPA but is decent. Not what I was expecting out of a 25th anniversary beer. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - SEP 19, 2012
THOUGHTS: Nice IPA. Decent balance and then a nice hop bite at the end. Very interesting hop profile. Especially in the aroma.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with a large to huge meringue-like, off-white head that slowly diminished, kept a thick sheet and left excellent lacing. The aroma had light to moderate toasted and caramel malts; moderate to heavy passion fruit, mango, peach, apricot, sherbert and bubblegum hops; and orange creamsicle. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderate to heavily bitter with a fairly long duration. There was caramel malt, grapefruit, orange, sherbert and apricot hops. The light to medium body was oily and then dry with soft but tingly carbonation and a metallic finish. glennmastrange (2941) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of bread, roasted and nutty, pine and herbs for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with date and wood in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminshing. Color is hazy, medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then the long finish is lightly acidic, moderately bitter and a touch salty. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. This is a very nice hoppy IPA, that’s both easy drinking and flavorful. drfabulous (8818) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 30, 2012
12 ounce thanks to XmnwildX12. Nicely balanced IPA thought maybe slightly closer to Pale. Slight caramel to it in malt build. I get the Centennial as a dominant hop. Nicely done in a well crafted way. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Has a nice fresh citrus pine scent and pours a nice amber color with a frothy white head. Super strong dry bitter taste, little to bitter for my taste.
