Golden, slightly hazed liquid. Tall yellowish, fluffy head, with light lace. Sweet and spicy aromas. Orange blossoms and lavender come to mind. Light pale malt flavors with a touch of spicy yeast. Easy enough to drink. A bit grainy in the finish. 4/11

Unfiltered Orange, Good Head, Lots Of Lacing. Citrus, Yeast, Malt and Hops but no sign of Honey. Decent. hogan873 (451) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Cloudy pale amber body with a thick lasting white head. Decent aroma of honey and spice (pepper?). Very bright palate loaded with carbonation. The flavor is similar to the aroma but a little better. Sweet and smooth up front with some honey flavor. It finishes with a nice peppery bite. A decent beer.

Lemon and citrus notes, noticeable honey flavor. Some pepper notes shone through as well

Bottle. Moderate malt aroma of grain, lemon for the hops, light to moderate bearnyard and musty for the yeast with un-ripe peach and honey in the background. Head is large, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy, medium amber. Flavor starts heavily acidic, and sour, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, dry, with a fizy carbonation. This is a very refreshing and sprtely Saison with a nice crisp finish. bconch (408) - - JUL 31, 2012
Taken from old notes. Lemon and citrus nose. Taste is the same with some honey in there. Nice and tart and refreshing. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 11, 2012
In short: A clean, semi-dry, semi-rustic blonde ale with grassy/spicy hops. Nice session beer.Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 10, 2012
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed when approximately 6 to 9 months of age, bottle sent to me by oakbluff, thanks a lot Scott
The look: Partly cloudy dark blonde body topped by a persistent small white head
In long: Nose is slightly rustic with some spicy/grassy hops and notes of sweet fruity esters. Taste has crisp crackery cereals and it and the attack does have some honey. But it is quickly brought down by the spicy dry grassy hops and the rustic dusty yeast. The finish is rather dry, a bit spicy. Carbonation is a bit too prickly, too much like a soda-pop. This is a nice session beer overall, very clean, very crisp, the kind of straightforward semi-dry blonde ale that one can drink all night long. Deserves better than its shitty ratings. And the worst thing about a real honeymoon is that you are now married and are therefore you are now sleeping with your relatives, and thatís sick.
Bottled. Poured slightly cloudy golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up sweet lighter fruits and honey with peppery and quasi-vinous yeasty notes around.. seemed a little heavy-handed and off-balance. The flavor found vanilla, spicy notes, and a hint of vanilla laced throughout.. darker honey and less bready notes for support.. finished tacky and spicy. Light-medium bodied with high carbonation on the palate.. too sugary to be refreshing.. just OK. JoeinDahlem (1503) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 10, 2012
Sampled at GTMW í11. This is a hoppy saison at an utterly reasonable abv, so already it is saying all the right things to me. Floral and grassy in the nose, rather bitter and dry, well attenuated. The honey character is there in the backdrop. Rather clean profile, but thatís fine with me (and normal for one or two French farmhouse yeasts). I love an American-made saison that is not afraid to be a hoppy, dry, quenching beer.
