3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draught at 2013 North American Organic Brewers Festival. Amber in color and fizzy. Malty aroma with grassy hops. Fine but unexceptional bitter grass hop and malt flavor. Finishes a little too light bodied.
I was impressed by this beer. Not knowing what to expect out of a beer that simply had a label reading "100% organic" and rather suspicious at first, the aroma is a beautiful hoppy resin and taste is complex. Color is reddish brown. Tastes like hop, caramel, some malt, a bit sour near the end with a bitter after taste. Rich medium body. Good beer overall. Clear amber with good, creamy, off-white head, light lacing / Nose of sour malt, cooked citrus, caramel / Medium to full body, a touch thin, malty, some biting hops, some astringency with bitter finish / Mostly dull flavors of pine, cooked grapefruit, caramel / Mediocre. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 7, 2013
Bottle pour into a pint for this brew. I don’t care that much that it’s organic - but I guess it’s a good bonus. Good sessionable IPA pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 29, 2013
On draught at na organic ale fest - pours a nice amber color, thick off white head. Nose of malt, grain. Taste of malt , however does have bitterness throughout.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden, nice looking beer. Some nice hops, citrusy and floral on the nose and tongue. Commercial description says IPA, style is specialty grain. No matter, its a solid beer. madvike (3260) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Tap - Dark amber pour with a creamy light tan head. Nose is citrusy with a clean malt base. Orange marmalade and light bread with an herbal hoppiness. Smooth and well-carbonated. Bestbrew1 (60) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 14, 2013
This beer has a lemony scent to it and does the same as a lemon would if I touched it to my tongue. It almost makes my tongue feel like it did when I would put it on a 9 volt battery when I was a child. This one has floaters in it so if you don’t like floaters in your brew this one isn’t for you. In the world of craft beer these days this one is just okay. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Darker IPA pour, floral citrus hosp in the nose, slight caramel. Flavor is tangy, citrus rind dominates hop character. There is some bready malts but no too much sweetness. Very bitter lower abv ipa. bonus points for being 100% organic.
