I guess I got the second batch as mine says best by 12/27. Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is almost a pils type bready malt. Flavor is more of a dry cracker malt with some a bit of grasay hay like hops. Finish is a touch herbal and bitter. Just ok. I don’t know what they were going for here. Good ipa on tap in madison winsconsin, at a bar, nothing too special but decent heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Bottle. Slightly hazy medium amber colored brew with lively and dense off white head. Orange candy is the strongest scent I can get with some bits of pancake batter. This is like lightly bitter orange marmalade mixed into pancake batter. The body is lively with carbonation, yet a little bit dusty in the finish. This one is a decent drink and has enough bitterness throughout to keep it interesting and to balance the fair sweetness. Christpuncher (3188) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 2, 2013
No a very good ipa. Very malty and not very hoppy beer. Smells hoppy and pour a dark yellow orange on color.

Poured from draft at long room with christpuncher. Bitter and hoppy. Hate the English style. Not a fan but drinkable.

Pours a cloudy dark golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, some fruit and grassy. Taste of pine up front with some malt and bit of caramel sweetness with a bit of nut. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, crisp, smooth and well balance. Has an unexpected malt character for an IPA. Enjoyable beer. Nice twist on being just another IPA. Nuffield (4185) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 15, 2013
Dark golden/amber color. Promising aroma with prominent citrus notes, but some hints of grassiness. The flavor is more obviously grassy, a bit nutty, and murky. The bitterness is somewhat astringent, lightly metallic, and not pleasing. Might be the kind of beer that would improve with a hand-pulled cask, or at least that would fit the English aspirations. Hazy yellow color with a foamy/filmy head and OK lacing. Nose is sweet citrus hops, grapefruits, tangerines, mangoes and some caramel & pale malts. Flavor is a bitter piney resin taste with some citrus hops, pale malts barley and some grassiness; very earthy tasting. Heavy body with some relatively high carbonation. Good IPA but I’ll stick with their other regular IPAs vikingguy (1106) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2013 Golden with foamy white head. Bright floral hops on the nose. Grassy hops with pine accents dominate flavor. Medium bodied pale malts balance. It’s refreshing for an IPA. Taste is a bit sharp and not my favorite flavor profile for an IPA but overall it’s pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone portableparty (2366) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 7, 2013
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber with tiny sediment that floats about and a tight almost creamy off white head that fades to a thin spotty film. Aroma has English malt floral hops and sweet bread. Taste is bitter, but not overpowering with floral spruce like hops and plenty of caramel malt and bread. Palate is thin to medium with a crisp dry and subtle spice finish. I dig it.
