Bottle. Floral nose. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Really nice hoppy flavor. Very unique. Grassy, some spice. One of Summit’s best ever beers. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - AUG 27, 2013

Amber pour with thick head. Aroma of caramel, burnt sugar, woody/fruity hop.
Flavour is breast sweet caramel. Light fruity esters and light floral bitter finish.

Cloudy copper color with a large head. Light vegetal hop aroma. Moderate grain flavor. Fairly vegetal and earthy hop character. Medium bitterness. Some light dry honey towards the end of the glass.

Pours a pale amber with suspended sediment, quickly fading head and good lacing. Aroma is lemon, citrus, floral. Flavor is a little citrus up front, then into a chewy malt with a deeply grassy, bitter rind in the middle - tart with a dirty, grainy finish. The dominating flavor is like an uncoated aspirin pill, only partially salvaged by the malts. commonmac (1245) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Poured in a pint glass on Sweeney’s patio in St. Paul. Aroma and appearance of a normal IPA. Looking for something more but feels like Summit rested on its laurels. Starts OK and ends worse than OK. Less pine than most but not bringing much to the table. I will say it’s pretty easy to drink. Maybe we didn’t need another IPA? jmohno (1618) - Iowa, USA - AUG 16, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2013 Paleish yellow, clear with some slight yeast debrie.Heady at first quickly receding to a ring with slight lace.
Lemony floral citrus aroma.Grassy,tart.Fairly pungent.Slight bready.
Lemony floral citrus taste and pungent, strong tart citrusy finish.Very pithy lemon rind bitter. Dry and crisp, very slightly buttery or light caramel. Pretty dry and clean malt base.More of a west coast style ipa in the sense that its hop bitter dry unbalanced, not neccessarly the tart thing. More lemony citrus tart than I like my ipas. bookman10 (1121) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Not bad. This pours a very pale yellow with minimal head. Floral/hop aroma, with some bready notes. Flavor is very crisp, with pepper, citrus, and pine-hop bitterness. Bitter finish. Scopey (14708) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours pale golden yellow with pretty much no head. The nose is soft, grainy, straw, floral and dough. The taste is lemony, grapefruit, pepper, decent bitterness, floral, straw, with a dry, citric finish. Not much going on.... A bit bland really...
