Golden color with a taller off-white head. Malts and herbal hops dominate the aromas. Light sweet start with a mild herbal to minty hops background. Has a bit of a maibock character. Solid lager. 4/14

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear dark red-brown pour with slightly off white head, aroma brought notes of big caramel, toffee, toasted bread, some grass into a bit of yeast, slight grain, husky notes, touch of fruit. Taste was mainly caramel, some slight grass, bread, toast into a bit of spice, slight fruit, finishing fairly sweet. cbfobes (2891) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2015
Poured from bottle, pours a clear copper brown with a thin white bubbly head, the aroma is very sweet with lots of malt and caramel, the flavor is much of the same, lots of caramel and malt with a slick finish, malty, it is what it is. outlawskies (564) - Ohio, USA - OCT 12, 2014

Bottle, pours a hazy orange-brown body with a thin white head. Aroma of bread, yeast, caramel, and citrus. Taste is similar. Dry on the palate; very drinkable.

Pours light amber, brief white head. Aroma yeast/bread with a bit of citrus. Taste follows the aroma with additional earthiness, like bier du garde, saison, or farmstead. Palate starts clear/cool then blooms with a flavor burst finish. Not a typical amber. Amp this up and it might be more noteable. Overall an interesting beer that’s a bit off type, but OK. Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of caramel, graininess and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, light graininess and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering caramel finish. backdaft (286) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 7, 2014
Bottle. Copper color with a thin white head and no lacing to speak of. Aroma is cereal grain and sweet malt. Taste is same with nutty, sweet caramel notes. Not what I was hoping for... and in all honesty, its another failure from Summit IMHO hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2014
Bottle. Poured a copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Some earth, caramel, and some nuttiness. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Generally good flavor. Nice maltiness, semi-sweet. It has a bit of fizziness and colaness to it that is not as pleasant though. Good effort, not great.
