Pours a deep brown with a thin ivory head. Cherry, dark fruit, bread, and Bourbon flavors. Nice creamy mouthfeel with a warming alcohol bite at the finish. Very nice and enjoyable.

Enjoyed at a tasting at Brians house on February 08. 500 mL wide-mouth cottle. The pour is a reddish amber color with a thicker tan head that leaves some soapy lace as it falls down to a film and thin collar. The aroma is interesting. There is a dark fruit heaviness going on, but it has a sweet maltiness, some light molasses, and a very bready malt addition. Its got a little yeastiness and maybe a hint of banana. Its a little boozy on the back end and its just a bit messy. The flavor is almost identical. The dark fruits are nice, but the alcohol kicks in a little sooner. The malts and yeast work well, but there is a robust molasses thats joining in late. The mouth feel is a little watery and softly carbonated with a lingeringly sweet fruity and alcohol finish. Its a unique beer, thats for true.

Deep plummy Amber that pours with a thick ivory top. Bright juicy raisin and plum aromas thats sweet and dark fruit juicy. Bombastic juicy and plummy flavor thats got a load of raisins and figs, warm booze heat, purple flavored Belgian malts and a slightly bread pudding tone on the finish. A bit simplistic and overly sweet/fruity but still tasty.

On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear reddish amber appearance with tan head. Aroma of fruity esters, oak, light bourbon and light vanilla. Similar flavor, rich and malty with barrel notes, moderate sweetness and mild bitterness. Medium to full body with a crisp, light dry finish.

Draft to taster at the Fishers SK. Looks solid; a mildly hazy burnt orange with off-white head. Smells of dark fruit, oak, and vanilla with a fairly sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, but more robust and balanced, and with more of a vanilla presence. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied with a bit of pleasant tartness on the back end. Solid, and tastes better than it smells.

Can. Deep amber body. Beige head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, alcohol, plum, raisin, caramel, biscuit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Taste of raisin, plum, brown sugar, hot alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. less sweetness would help, but good flavors and aromas.

Poured from 16oz can. Pours cola brown with thin beige head that disappears quickly. Aroma is lots of maple syrup, raisins and dried fruits. The taste follows with a great sweetness and some fruity esters. I had this at GABF and there was a distinct apple cider flavor that I dont get with the slightly aged can.

Can... Clear copper ale with a flimsy, fleeting, white head. The nose is a melange of caramel, white wine and mild oak. Medium to full-bodied and a touch oily with laid-back carbonation. The fllavor offers lovely caramel and toffee, accompanied by light tartness. Good balance for the style, but it does lean a touch sweet, as it should. Finishes rich, caramely and nourishing. Quite the meal. Can courtesy of StFun. Thanks, Josh!

Kinda tart. Kinda red. No head. No lacing. Spicy. Midwest Belgian beer festival at perennial.

Can. Pours a nice ruby color. The aroma is nice and warming. The taste sweet and warm. Surprising for a can. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
