Rated on 12-19-2013 at 800 Degree Three Fires-Fort Wayne, IN. The appearance of this draft beer is a small tan head with a short retention, lightly hazy pale yellow body, no carbonation observed, and virtually no lacing. The aroma is sweet, fruity and peachy. The flavor is sweet, fruity, peach, and has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is semi-thick and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is too fruity tasting for my liking. This is one of my favorite beer styles and it was a let down in regards to the flavor. b3shine (9194) - Indiana, USA - APR 14, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a mostly transparent gold with white lacing. Appears to be on the thinner side, at least visually. Smells solid; sweet and yeasty with a pleasant peach presence. Tastes like it smells, but not as robust. Average on the palate. A decent example of the style. Patrickctenchi (6750) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 14, 2014

Hazy, light amber-brown with a small, off-white head.
Orange, tangerine malt aroma.
Taste is sweet, syrupy.....yeasty.
Not bad, but clingy sweet.
Draft. Buttery orange malt and alcohol aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet earthy orange and buttery malt flavor. Different to say the least - high diacetyl levels. patrick767 (4350) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 11, 2014
tap - Pours lightly hazy gold with a medium sized fading head. It has a yeasty aroma with some banana notes. The flavor is sweet and sugary with spicy yeast. Overall it’s a good though but there are better tripels. Worth a try.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a very small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was fruity. The mild citrus mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste. The deep flavor contained notes of peach orange pear apricot citrus candy and fruity. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again. olr1984 (1530) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 15, 2013

This is a fine release from Sun King that definitely packs the punch it promises. More of an American style take on the Belgian than anything you would run across in Europe it still works well.
Aroma / Appearance - Warmth radiates from the base accompanied by a white fringe of head. Cotton candy, caramel, molasses, and malt linger as if standing around the fairgrounds the day after the close of the county fair.
Flavor / Palate - The chewy mouthfeel sticks in the mouth from the first sip. Honey, almonds, molasses, and a dry vinous texture round out a full bodied profile. This is so thick that at times it drinks like a low key mead. Your mileage may vary but this is a nice beer from Sun King that doesn’t rely on the hops to impress.
16oz aluminum can. Aroma is a sour malt aroma with an apple, trippel yeast smell. Appearance is a bronze with no head. Taste is a dry carbonation that tastes like apple and a dry, stinging booze flavor. A boozy triple flavor finishes this beer off. Palate is a dry, tripel flavor. Overall, an ok beer. Would have liked it darker, and less boozy.

On tap at GABF 2013, belgium yeast is super prominent in the aroma and taste, didn’t care for it.
