Can, 06/29/2012. Pours toasted amber, head dissipates quickly. Aroma lightly fruity- raisins, banana- brown sugar with light Belgian malt profile, biscuity. Taste of sweet malts, spices and light bitterness, fruity yeast finish. Body is a bit thicker, though not surprising for the ABV, nice carbonation. Decently tasty yet unambitious Belgian-style brew, not too shabby for coming from what looks like an energy drink can. onceblind (10113) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 16, 2012
@ Oskar Blues Burning Can Fest 2012. Clear amber, with a fruity malty aroma, with some nice raisin and toffee tones under some yeasty peach esters. Flavor was yeasty and toasty with weird tones of raisin and Belgian cereal malts. Like it was a Belgian lager or something, with all that bready biscuity yeastiness. tjthresh (1875) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Pours clear, brownish red with a quickly vanishing white head. Interesting nose and a nice spicy flavor. Dry finish. Approachable. pete4999 (1445) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Can. Pours a somewhat hazy brown. Smells strongly of raisins and cinnamon, and tastes similar. A bit darker than I was expecting, I expected something a little lighter. Not too heavy, but not too light either. b3shine (9026) - Indiana, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Can to oversized snifter (thanks jmborggren). Looks good; dark with nice head. Smells pretty good too; quad-like. Tastes pretty good; figs and spices. Mouthfeel is decent. This is a very solid collab.

Pours deep brown or deep read with little head. Nose is spices and strong esters with evident nose of dark caramel malt sugars nuts and figs. Flavor is sweet caramel malts and esters but finishes moderately dry. Kinda boring and lacking complexity. This wasn’t too impressive. I taste the same caramel malt in this beer that I did their wee muckle. meh Patrickctenchi (6666) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Aluminum twist-top bottle.
Deep, clear amber, with a fast vanishing tan head.
Brown sugar scent, malt, dark fruit.
A little woody with a strange tartness...a champagne feel with a twang of alcohol.
Not too bad. shrubber85 (11508) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle shaped can with twist-top. Brown sugar, banana, and malt aroma with a hint of alcohol. Clear amber with small head. Dry herbal malt and lightly bitter flavor. Pretty attenuated. Nice, dry BSA. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Draft on tap at Haymarket’s Sun King Takeover (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich copper hue, good glow, rich haze, darker elements with a frothy bubbly tannish head atop. Laces well, sticks as a small layer. Aromas are gentle pear, apple, carmelized malts. Gentle biscuits, Belgian yeast element, and dry earthy hops. Initial is a good jhab of yeasty apple cider, gentle bready malts, mellow bread, and apple rich cidery sweetness. Cidery spice, dryness peeks in. Spicy and mellow fruity middle catches it’s stride, offering some mellow life and spice. Backend offers tangy apple, gentle spice, richer cidery feel. Really weird for me, with the Belgian element getting too sweet and into the tangy tart cidery realm. Ok. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle. Brown sugar and light fruity (banana?) aroma. Clear orange amber with a small tan head. Sweet malt, tart barnyard flavor. Medium body with a dry finish.
