Draft - Grapefruit peel and caramel. Clear gold with a light beige head. Bitter peel with some sweetness and a long finish. Lots of grapefruit peel, but not very juicy. Tmoney99 (14985) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2010
IBG Summer Fest. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Standout brew.

Can thanks to Josh! Pours a near clear amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet citrus with some bitter grapefruit and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a nice start of citrus that grows into bitter grapefruit and has a sweet grain backbone. shrubber85 (11623) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 16, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2013 Draft. Sweet ruby red grapefruit malt and pine/grapfruit peel aroma. Amber with nice long lasting head. Sweet pineapple, grapefruit, malt, and moderately bitter pine and grapefruit peel flavor. Excellent blending. Very nice IPA.

Can... Strong citrus aroma - grapefruit for sure, but that’s not all. Peels from a medley of citrus fruits. Medium-bodied with buoyant carbonation. The flavor tilts far into the bitter side of balance, but abundant medium-roast malts make their presence known. Bittersweet, rindy finish. Can shipped my way by StFun! alexsdad06 (10821) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 28, 2013
16 oz. can from jstax. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized yellowish beige head. The aroma and flavor have a big grapefruit citrus character, some tangerine, moderately sweet malts, caramel, lasting bitterness to the finish. Easy drinking west coast gem of an ipa. Another example of a beer I wish we could get locally. onceblind (10611) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 25, 2015
Clear deep copper with a thin foamy white cap. Nice nose of leafy hop resins, a wee bit of lemon peel, and nice grapefruit zest. Crisp and bright flavor with grapefruit peel and zest right up front, but not terribly bitter, just balancing and crisp. Big sticky grapefruity hoppiness with a cara-biscuit bready sweet background with some leafy resins.

16oz can, thanks to DanielCoor. Poured into my DFH IPA glass. Clear yellow orange color. Good thin off-white head, leaves good lace. Bigger body, even for 7.5%.. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Indeed, big grapefruit hop flavors. Some pine. Hop flavor dominates, malt profile is distant in the background, but a very light caramel malt back is there. Good big assertive bitter taste, minimal sweet. Light alcohol bite.. Tastes a little bigger than 7.5%. Very tasty, assertive IPA, though. b3shine (9154) - Indiana, USA - JUL 6, 2013
16 oz can to pint, released fresh from Sun King today. Looks good; a transparent orange with thin white head. Smells good; pleasantly hoppy with major notes of grapefruit. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel. A good IPA.
