Grapefruit Jungle is a west coast-style I.P.A. Aptly named for the rich grapefruit characteristics of the three hops used to create it, Grapefruit Jungle is bursting with hop flavor and aroma. With the equivalent of one pound of hops in every keg, Grapefruit Jungle is a hop lover’s dream!

16 oz can, courtesy stfun. This one pours a glowing sunset orange color and topped by a small, smooth head of off white foam that slowly settles to a thin film and leaving sudsy spots of lace around the glass. Thousands of bubbles quickly move up the glass giving it a lively appearance. The aroma is very west coat in nature showing big, juicy grapefruit and orange citrus up front followed by a toasted caramel malt base to add some sweetness to back up all the hop bitterness. The flavor follows suit, but not quite as bright as nose suggests with the juicy orange and bitter grapefruit up front along with notes of resinous pine. Toasted caramel and biscuit malts provide the balancing counterpart, but everything still tends toward to the bitter side from all the hops. The palate is substantial with some residual sugars adding heft to go with moderate carbonation that leads to a lengthy, bitter finish. This one doesn’t quite get as dry as some of the better west coast examples, but it is a really tasty brew and enjoyable to drink. Really good stuff. This brewery continues to impress.

Had on tap. Orange, hazy pour with some carbonation. Big grapefruit & hop aroma. Taste is the same. Hop blending is great. Some bitterness, pine, resin, malt backing is well done. One of my favorites so far from Sun King. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can courtesy of gkheater. Cheers, Garth! Pours a clear copper with an off-tan head. Nose is white grapefruit, some grassy bitterness, caramel, and light tropical fruit. Flavor hits with citrus pith, mild bitterness, grass, and malty sweetness. Medium in body and a nice IPA overall.

This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent weak red brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of fruity and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Draft - Grapefruit peel and caramel. Clear gold with a light beige head. Bitter peel with some sweetness and a long finish. Lots of grapefruit peel, but not very juicy.

Clear deep copper with a thin foamy white cap. Nice nose of leafy hop resins, a wee bit of lemon peel, and nice grapefruit zest. Crisp and bright flavor with grapefruit peel and zest right up front, but not terribly bitter, just balancing and crisp. Big sticky grapefruity hoppiness with a cara-biscuit bready sweet background with some leafy resins.

Can thanks to Andrew Rohne. This beer is great. Tropical fruit is all over the place. Of course, grapefruit, but some mango, pineapple, lemmon, and lime too. Great shit!

Nice pine needle and grapefruit aroma. Taste is resinous pine needle and bitter grapefruit, mild sliced malt to carry it through.
