Draft - Light grain and some caramel. Clearish gold with a rich beige head. Sweet and malty with some grains. Light and easy drinking as it should be.

Draft at MacNiven’s. Poured a clear copper color with an average creamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Smooth and drinkable.

355ml can. Amber orange pour. This is an exxtremely doughy oktoberfest, bit sweet, some spice, ehhh..

slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 27, 2014
Copper/orange in color. Aroma is malty and bready. Flavor semi-sweet with caramel, bread, toffee malts...very light hops. Not a standout, but definitely would scratch that marzen itch well enough.

Can. Caramel malt and sour milk aroma. Amber color with giant off-white head. Slightly sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Not bad.

b3shine (9143) - Indiana, USA - OCT 1, 2013
Draft to taster. Looks decent; light for an Oktoberfest though. A completely transparent full gold with foamy off-white head. Smells of dough, lager yeast, and light malt. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. An easy drinker, but otherwise forgettable.

16 oz. can courtesy of queenholly. Clear amber in color with long lasting, bubbly head. Aromas of toasted bread, caramel malts and some herbal notes. The flavor is toasted caramel malt, lager yeast and a very light spice. Finish is lightly sweet with a thin body. The Oktoberfest style is normally a very simple style. This brew is right along the average in its class. Overall clean and simple.

Patrickctenchi (6731) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2013
16 oz. can: Clear, amber with a thick, off-white head. Caramel, sweet bread aroma. Slightly tangy-sweet caramel flavor. Bread and spice. A little herbal hoppiness. Very pleasant...low-key, but good.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent golden brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of Vienna malt and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Backlog rating on 9-08-2012 at Mad Anthony Brewing Company Oktobeerfest (Fort Wayne, IN) The appearance of this draft beer is a large off-white head with a long retention, transparent gold body, very little carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is caramel malt, light hops and fruity. The flavor is caramel malt, semi-sweet, and light hops. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is easy drinking but does not have much character.
