Draft at the Fort Wayne release party at CS3. Not bad at all, though I made the mistake of having this right AFTER their jungle room impy IPA blew my socks off, and my taste buds, lol. Came across as sessionable and simple, a fun little pale ale that I wouldn’t have guessed was dry hopped before reading the description above, but good... I liked it.

Pours an amber color with a beige head. Nose is hoppy, mild citrus but not overwhelming ! Taste is hoppy with mild resin and pine ....awfully dull ! Finishes on the same tasting notes. Average at best ! Quaff Score 6 / 10......5-3-6-3-12

Can on 4th of july downtown indy marketplace with the family. Drank from the can and bottle I poured it into so I cant say much on the appearance. Aromas were medium hoppy and somewhat on the pine/earthy side. Flavors were medium to light sweetness with a touch of dry. Light to medium hop flavor with a touch of caramel backing. Decent but not going to remember.

Pour from a 16 oz can, dated 14 April 2017. Clear pale amber brew with white head. Aroma of weak fruity hops - melon notes - and light citrus. Taste is very mild malt with moderate bitter hops, some fruity / melon notes emerge late in the swallow with a modest hops flourish in the finish where the dry hopping emerges. Weak and restrained. It’s OK for what is there and is enjoyable and refreshing - but something of an APA lite.

Pours clear golden with a white head. It has a medium body with semi sharp carbonation. The taste has pineapple, grapefruit spice and light malt. Good.

Can from a trade. Aroma is biscuit malt initially followed by a light cascade and grapefruit hop aroma. hazy orange pour with a decent sized off white head. Taste is initially all bitter then a light dusty malt flavor. After that everything just kind of fall flat and lifeless. Meh at best.

2015 BJCP Category: 18B American Pale Ale

AROMA: Light piney hops; some amber malt notes but no specific character. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Dark amber/orange proper. Fairlt hazy but plenty of CO2 visible. Moderate white foam mostly dissipates. 2/3

FLAVOR: Piney hops throughout, but low on the bitterness. Low to moderate clean grainy-malt character provides balance but is not especially sweet. No off flavors, but palette is a little boring as it’s rather mild. 12/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Crisp, but not refreshing per se. Slightly dry aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Nothing wrong with this beer other than being mild and kind of boring. Drinkability is nice at least. 6/10

TOTAL SCORE: 31/50

Golden in color with a sticky foam. I’m mixed about the aroma. Some bread maybe, citrus, not really sure. Not bad just nothing outstanding. Body was under carbonated. Nothing terrific.
