A: The pour is a standard amber-ish color with a big white head on it. S: This beer smells almost like hot garbage. Not much in the way of hops, somewhat of a malty aroma. T: The flavor offers up some good bitterness, but that’s about it. A bit of malt flavor but not really any citrus or anything like that. M: The mouthfeel is typical for a pale ale. Medium in body with a lively carbonation. D: The flavor was alright, but not really anything special. Unfortunately, the aroma is just flat off-putting.

Can from Liz. Pours light amber with a 3 finger creamy white head. Aroma: cat pee is next to godliness. It’s not all that simple, but it’s a very citrus aroma. Near med body. Flavor is a lot of citrus hop over a barely noticeable malt backbone. Finishes spicy/hoppy. Just excellent.

Draft at MacNiven’s. Poured a hazy copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hops aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2010 Sample from can at the Beer ’N Rock Band tasting on 08/27/2010: The beer is a clear golden color with a medium fluffy off-white head that recedes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing at the top of the glass with spots underneath. Hoppy aroma with primarily citrus notes, along with a touch of malt. Medium body with hops and zesty citrus flavors along with malty notes. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Straightforward, decent Pale Ale overall.
