At first sip it is tart and grainy but as you go it opens up. A pleasant bitterness lies underneath grain, tart but citrusy hops, and some spiciness.

CBC 16oz can-pours gold with a rich offwhite head. Aroma is soft floral/resin. Taste is floral/resin/herbal hops with a bite, some sweet light/medium malt.

"91st percentile on RB...gotta admit, I’m not feeling that. This was an average pale at best. Did absolutely nothing to stand out and even seemed like it was dirty malty enough to not be suoer fresh. Decent bittering and floral hops, but no follow through."

On tap at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured a clear dark gold with a white head. Aroma was full of citrus notes (orange) with underlying piney notes. There were more malts present in the flavor leading to a musty pine flavor with a touch of orange.

Can. Sweet orange/grapefruit/pine hops and light malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large head. Sweet orange malt initially with moderately bitter grapefruit/pine hops finish. Solid APA.

Can… Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Lengthy retention. The nose is of biscuit and moderately toasted grains flanked by musky and citrusy hops – lemon peel stands out. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor is of medium bitter, spicy, peppery hops. Lengthy, moderately bitter, dry finish. Thanks to MI2CA for providing this brew!

Amber pour, off white head. Nice pale! Good citrus hops up front, some toffee notes, yeast, lemon zest. Flavor has a great kick of hops balanced perfectly by some caramel malt notes. I enjoyed this one.

Can @ home, picked up at Highland Wine. Pours a fairly clear, dark orange appearance with a nice off white, creamy head. Moderately potent spicy, piney, orange citrusy aroma with a bit of a floral note going on. Starts out a bit sweet with some cracker and finishes a little more dry and hoppy. Some grapefruit notes. Aroma was nice but the flavor ended a little blandly. Ok.

Can shared by Bob - thanks! Citrus and pine resin aroma. Clean palate although a bit light / watery - not bad though. Fairly rich taste. Nice.

Can shared by shigadeyo. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that becomes a thin ring. The aroma is crisp citrus, floral, pale malt, and grass. The flavor has some citrus notes mingling with dry, grassy and floral hops and bready pale malt. There is a mild to moderate level of bitterness. Light to medium bodied drinkable APA.
