vyvvy (6397) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAR 25, 2017
Pours clear golden with a white head. It has a medium body with semi sharp carbonation. The taste has pineapple, grapefruit spice and light malt. Good.

Can from a trade. Aroma is biscuit malt initially followed by a light cascade and grapefruit hop aroma. hazy orange pour with a decent sized off white head. Taste is initially all bitter then a light dusty malt flavor. After that everything just kind of fall flat and lifeless. Meh at best.

2015 BJCP Category: 18B American Pale Ale

AROMA: Light piney hops; some amber malt notes but no specific character. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Dark amber/orange proper. Fairlt hazy but plenty of CO2 visible. Moderate white foam mostly dissipates. 2/3

FLAVOR: Piney hops throughout, but low on the bitterness. Low to moderate clean grainy-malt character provides balance but is not especially sweet. No off flavors, but palette is a little boring as its rather mild. 12/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Crisp, but not refreshing per se. Slightly dry aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Nothing wrong with this beer other than being mild and kind of boring. Drinkability is nice at least. 6/10

First beer on a three hour wait at the Indy airport.... Great choice!!! Goes down smooth finishes clean with slight citrus notes. I'll drink this one again!

kathouse (1877) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUL 28, 2016
Golden in color with a sticky foam. Im mixed about the aroma. Some bread maybe, citrus, not really sure. Not bad just nothing outstanding. Body was under carbonated. Nothing terrific.

ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 11, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2016 Pint can from Keg Liquors; dated 5/12/16 (Packaged-on date) Aroma: Moderate citrusy/lightly floral Cascade-like hops and lighter caramel biscuit at about a 60/40 balance. Very SNPA inspired. Appearance: Caramel gold with soft carbonation holding up a foamy white cap that settles into a patchy skin. Flavor: Starts out more malty and gradually builds up momentum hop-wise; the finish is at once semi dry but citrusy and lightly bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Good SNPA clone that is solid all around, but is nothing to seek out as an exemplar in the style.

pivo (2685) - GERMANY - JUN 24, 2016
Bright hop nose, shimmering pale gold, low tight head. Crisp body with a light malt taste that dissolves quickly into a tight hop bitterness. Thin, and very happy for a PA, its more like an IPA.
