COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunlight Cream Ale is our most approachable beer and is a great introduction to the world of Craft Beer. Cream ale is one of the earliest styles of American beer, but was virtually wiped out by American lager brewers. Our Cream Ale is an all malt beer. Only the finest quality barley, wheat and oats are used to give this beer it’s smooth malt profile which is delicately balanced with American hops and a cool fermentation to give this beer a crisp, clean finish.

Tall boy can served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a clear yellow color with a one finger height of white head forming on the pour. It recedes quickly to a thin ring. S: Light pale malts, some green grass hops with a touch of sweet corn. T: The lagery flavor profiles are much more assertive in the taste. Some sweet corn adjuncts with pale malts and some light bittering grass. Lagery yeast comes at you in the finish. M: Light bodied with a high carbonation level. Prickly mouthfeel with a sweet malt finish. O: Very solid cream ale. Spotted Cow is a touch better as the lager flavor profiles come out a little more in this beer giving a sweetness that is just ok. Pours clear yellow with little head. It has a light rough body with minor sharp carbonation. The taste has very light malt, smoothness and some herbs. Decent cream she.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 7, 2017
Clear pale gold body with a minimal wispy white head. The nose is slightly fruity with some corn and pale malt. The flavor is pretty poor, mostly corn and grainy malt without any hops. Light bodied and fizzy with prickly fizzy carbonation.

Can poured into shaker. Malt taste and a little heavy on the carbonation. More pilsner than cream ale. Buttery aroma. All around average brew.

A pretty okay cream ale. Smooth mouthfeel, lightly sweet with a bready aroma. Picked this up at the Indy airport on my way back to Omaha in 2016.

Sampled at GABF 2015. I negleced to post this one and this is from my tasting notes from last year. In the tasting glass gold with a white head. Nose of light malts. Light body. Flavor is malty and there is just not much taste here. I notice this won a gold medal at the the festival. Not sure why?

can. meh - very simple, crisp little beer. Didn’t expect much - not bad by any means, but nothing spectacular

The smell of this beer leaves me perplexed. It has subtle notes of floral and dare I say it mud. A quick sniff of the can confirmed it wasn't the glass. This beer however makes up for it in flavor! Wonderful on the tongue and light going down.

Heavy malt aroma. Thin, watery, no head. Some vanilla flavor but otherwise boring.

At the brewery. Wheat and creamy with a hint of lemon. Just like the Little Kings of my youth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
