Slightly hazy, amber-brown pour with a frothy off-white head. The aroma has toasted malt and mild caramel. It has a light, somewhat thin body with average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a slightly sticky finish.earthy, rondphoto (4489) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - AUG 22, 2016
can @ Keg Liquors / Clarksville IN --- 11/May/2016 --- Aroma of malt. Clear dark orange amber brown color, beige head that slowly shrinks to a cover, light lace dots. Taste is malt that sweeps into medium carbonation that then ushers in what I can only conclude is Coke. Light hops in a short finish. It’s only been three months since May, but I believe this is past its date. kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - AUG 13, 2016
Ruby/orange in color with a thin head. Deep malt aroma. Biscuit, toast, and bread with caramel notes in the back end and finish. ChadPolenz (1847) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUL 29, 2016

AROMA: Low maltiness with faint confectionery notes and red fruit. Nose is mild overall, though. 7/12
APPEARANCE: Clear dark copper/burgundy hue. Large off-white foam quickly and completely dissipates. 1/3
FLAVOR: Mild, bland palette. Malt-focused, but little distinct character. Trace confectionery notes; slightly minerally. No hop presence. Can is fairly fresh but seems old, though no signs of oxidation. 8/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; low carbonation. Watery texture. Smooth and easy to drink; clean aftertaste. 2/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Entirely too bland to enjoy. No glaring flaws, just not to style. 4/10
TOTAL SCORE: 22/50

Great choice as a second one from Sun King!
Beautiful Amber color and inviting aroma give this brew its character.

Quick notes of scotch malts. Crisp middle hint of caramel? At the brewery in Indy.

6 oz. from a pint can; from Keg Liquors (Clarksville). Aroma: Moderate almonds; moderate toast; a touch of tootsie roll. Appearance: Copper brown with soft carbonation holding up a scant tan head. Flavor: Combined malt notes with more chocolate for the duration; a light leaf tobacco hop presence comes out near the finish, which is semi-dry. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Nice beer, and close enough to session strength to enjoy a few. bdeon (8) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2016 does not count
This is weak sauce. Reminds me of home brew made with canned malt. Flat head, sweet malt, weak body. Nothing Scottish about it.
