COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

On tap @ St. Elmo’s, Indy. Tawny medium amber, creamy off white head. Sweet buttery toffee aroma and flavour, lighter body, nearly no bitterness.

Growler share at DLD - nose and sip remind me more of a brown ale. It was kind of flat but a nice change of pace from BA stouts.

geeklimit (294) - USA - APR 26, 2014
Good carbonation, no head and a dark cola color. Aroma is toffee and slight coffee. Malt flavor with toffee and slight cola. Clean mouth feel with a slightly sticky aftertaste.

2.3
NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 24, 2014
Clear brown pour with a small off-white head. Faint aromas of caramel and toffee. Flavor is mild maltiness not much depth. Easy to drink and unoffensive but not much going on here. Bland and boring.

DutchHillbilly (62) - Mattawan, Michigan, USA - MAR 19, 2014
Heavy head. Mild caramel flavor. Doesn’t hold head long. Mild aftertaste. Good brown ale. Lightly carbonated.

rxeight (3248) - Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2014
On tap as time bar in Indy. Light body. Slight acortiah ale taste but not much going in. Not bad. But not impressive either. Easy drinking. Good beer to have with a burger.

Can shared by Bob, thanks. Brown color and thin palate. Light malt, and the lightest caramel in the flavor. There is not much here.

Can shared by Bob - thanks! Clear amber pour with a small foamy head. Caramel sweetness and smoked peat. Smooth but lighter palate. Pretty good.

Pint can. Chocolate, toffee, slight smoke, tannins, toast. A quick nip of hops on the front end, and a multi-layered malt experience follows, tumbling in waves over the palate. About a two out of five on the sweetness scale, and as it seems like there are a lot of sweet beers out there this year, I wouldn’t say this one is overly sweet. Enjoyed it very much.
