Pretty weak Scottish ale. Muted aromas... Some peat and sweet malt. Flavors are a bit of caramel and banana. Thin and watery. Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Poured from a pint sized can. Notes of fruit, some sulfur, caramel, soft stone fruits. A touch bland. cbfobes (2891) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Poured from 16oz can, pours a clear light brownish red with a thin white head and no lacing, the aroma is very sweet with a hint of scotch, the front end of the flavor is strong in the malt with some caramel in the finish, very sweet but it works for this one, nice.

16oz can. Rating #68. Clear dark amber, nice toasty aroma, picking up a little smoke as well. Flavor is similar, nice touch of sweetness. Good stuff. (2399)

Draft dark copper amber. Nose sweet sryupy malt and toffee. Taste all sweet malt no hop. Minimal finish. jcr (2763) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Draft at Rich Os. Light brown body with a fizzy, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Raw grain aroma with notes of caramel, roast and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and moderate carbonation. A sight tartness in the finish, along with some vinegary notes. Flabby, unclean malts. Lacking the richness of a Scottish ale. Disappointing. joet (2664) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Scottish style brown ale my butt. Straight up malt liquor is more like it. But a good one. Heavy corn flavors. Dusty hops. Oxidized malts with bits of paper, metallic, medium caramels. Light lemon tang. The texture is well done -- effervescent and lightly creamy. No fusels nor apparent alcohol. Weird but solid.
