UPDATED: JAN 18, 2012 12/17/10. Can shared by fata2683 - thanks, Keith! Very light caramel aroma. The flavor is slight sweet caramel with a hint of roast and something that reminds me of plastic. Re-rate 1/18/12. Clear amber pour with a small khaki head. Light caramel aroma with a bit of metal. Sweet caramel flavor with bits of bread and toast and a touch of lingering roast. Nice. 16 ounce can, pours a cola color with a creamy off white head. Has the aroma of caramel, burnt toast, malt, and nuts. Flavor matches the aroma, that has medium carbonation, and a malty finish. arkurzynski (2427) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Can courtesy of motortoddhead. Deep brown red with fluffy off-white head. Toasted malt, light caramel, and a touch of plastic. Toasted malt, biscuit, grain, mild fruit punch, with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Pretty light on the palate. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 25, 2011
Received in trade from phisigben, thanks for the opportunity!
Pours a crystal clear solid copper brown color with a good sized creamy white head that slowly dissipates, but leaves some spotty lace in its wake. Now this beer is still quite cold, freshly poured after coming out of the "regular" refrigerator, but most of what I’m getting from the aroma is an almost tart fruitiness. As this warms it opens up a little and I get more malt with sweet caramel and toffee, bread, and hints of dark fruit. Taste is mild toffee and caramel up front followed by some tart and dark fruits for the dry finish. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sugary mouthfeel. This one is a bit weird. There’s a tart almost metallic thing going on the aroma. The body is a bit to thin for the style and the flavor should have more rich caramel/burnt sugar maltiness in it, but it doesn’t. This one kind of falls short of expectations.

Dark brown, caramel in color. Medium head. Caramel aromas. Thick, creamy palate. Toffee & hazelnut flavors. Sweet, not much bitterness. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Pint can from Keg Liquors in New Albany, IN. Pours a mostly clear, deeper copper colored body with a finger-width, creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grainy, slightly nutty toast and toffees with a touch of chocolate and earth. Flavor is similar. Nutty, grainy toffees up front with a touch of dark fruit and cocoa in the middle. Finishes clean with a touch of toast and a light earthy bitterness. Medium length aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an easy drinking and clean beer. Not a whole lot of character, but enjoyable enough. cooplander (543) - Florida, USA - JAN 8, 2013

16oz can. Pours a dark copper/brown color with a thick fluffy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and toffee. Taste of light roasted malts, toffee, light citrus, and some sourness in the finish. WabashMan (1024) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - SEP 14, 2013
A decent Scottish, if not a great among the style. Pours a rather plain jane red tinged brown with decent light tan head. Nose is malty and a little spice. Spicy notes come out a little more in the flavor. Were this beer a little deeper in flavor it could be really very good. As it is, it’s decent.
