COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

Pint can courtesy of StFun – Thanks big J! Muddy brown with a one finger tan head that faded fast. The nose is caramel and faint chocolate. The taste is caramel, dark fruits and light cocoa. Medium bodied. Not great, but happy to try it – thanks again Josh!

Shared from can into nonic half-pint glasses, thanks Jake! Near-opaque brown colour with beige foam, lasting with lace. Fantastic soft fruit aromas, better than flavour. Malty, just a little earty hop presence, mild bitterness, as is typical of this style. Cola, caramel, mellower than many American craft-brewed Scottish style ales. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering malty aftertaste. Good stuff.

Can. Rich caramel malt aroma with notes of cocoa, hazelnut and a hint of smoke. Pours deep caramel brown with a thin white head that has little retention and some lacing. Starts with with rich caramel malt and cocoa flavors. Finishes smooth with nutty character and just a little bit of smoke. Nice Scottish Ale.

Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - SEP 30, 2017
Appearance: Darker red brown. Nearly opaque. Thin layer of small tan bubbles. Good lace Nose: Rich caramel malty nose. Bready with a slight bitter edge. Taste: Medium roasted malt forward, moderately sweet caramel. Lightly bitter finish Body: medium to lighter with light carbonation. Parting thoughts: a decent Scottish ale.

Scipio (1185) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2017
Pours brown with a beige head that faded very quickly. The aroma is a little more subdued, with toasted malt, caramel, raisin, nuts, and bread. The taste is dry and has a light bitterness found early in the sip. The flavor is more nutty than anything else, though the toasted elements are rather strong as well. Its mildly floral and has buttery hints, an unusual cola flavor, and caramel. The caramel serves as a short and weak finish. Light in body and with a thin texture. I found this to be rather bland.

Taste: roasted dark malts, cocoa, hazelnut, sweet toffee notes. Same with the nose. Dark brown, partly clear, with a delicate head and lace. Medium/full body. Clean finish.

It pours bronze with an off white head. It has a light body with mild carbonation. The taste has dry toffee, dried dates with light toast. Okay Scottish ale.

A pretty decent scottish ale. Darker than most. Chocolate and coffee. Some caramel and sweet bread. Picked this up at the Indy airport in 2016.
