A really nice drinking IPA with plenty of hop flavor, aroma and a nice level of bitterness. Uwe is probably the most unheralded great brewer in the area because as big as he is he is also somewhat shy and humble but he makes great beer. jcwattsrugger (12427) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2011
on tap-pours an off white head with trailing lace and gold color. Aroma is citrus-grapefruit/tangerine/pine. Taste is pine/citrus-grapfruit/tangerine hops with drying bite, some light malt. hellbilly (3248) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - AUG 14, 2007
cask IPA with centennial hops@ the pub. beautiful dark golden color. nothing but raw piney hops on the nose. awesome cask texture/creamy mouth feel. flavor is mostly piney hops and bubble gum with nice cask characteristics and smoothness. malt is there to balance everything but stays in the shadows. it’s strange how much hops are there but it is not bitey or bitter...nice! Poured up at the brewpub with clear copper body and lasting off white head. The aroma emits sugar sweet malts along with a pleasing yet modest amounts of spicy hops. The first sip was like, wow, that’s some big spicy – earthiness gong on there and seemingly creating a bit of a black tea sensation. Additional quaffs reveal loads of spicy hops, some herbally grassy hops and grapefruit hop bitterness. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 25, 2011
Orange pour with creamy tan head and lace. Resiny hops and sweet caramel malt aroma. Caramel malt, bread, and resiny hops bitter. Medium full bodied with creamy carbonation. A well balanced beer. pretty nice.

Draught taste out of the shot glass. Rich, clear amber color w/ cream colored head. Could have been darker. Aromas of hops, citrus, and pine. Flavors of the same. Delicious. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - FEB 26, 2008
Draft @ the AZ Strong Beer Fest - Pours a clear copper color with a small off white head. Aroma is bigtime citrus and pine. Flavor is also big hops with just enough malt to showcase the hops. Medium body. No astringent aftertaste. I think this was one of the better beers at the Fest. You hopheads need to contact Bockyhorsey and maybe he can trade you a growler. Good Stuff! egajdzis (6613) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 10, 2008
Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, toasted dough, caramel malts, floral hops, and a bit of burnt marshmallow. Taste of bitter grapefruit, pine, light caramel, toasted dough, and a dry, bitter finish. Really solid IPA, thanks Steve! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 13, 2010
Gold pour, white head. Nice citrus and resinous hops with light caramel malt. Flavor has a really nice hop bite...good bitterness and just enough malt to balance. Good stuff. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 12, 2011
