On tap at Øl- og akevittmessen 2012 in Stavanger. Misty golden with a tan colored, creamy, inch thick head. Lovely and inviting malty, band aid and light piny hops aroma. Bitter, smooth, medium body, herbal and hoppy mouth. Nice grainy malty finish. A real treat. Kestral (506) - Årnes, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2011
Tap@the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden with a large, creamy white head that slowly melts to a thin creamy layer, sticking to the glass like cobwebs. Aroma is mostly sweet. Loads of malt sweetness here, light fruitiness, some canned fruits, and a good amount of noble hops, along with their signature skunk. Also, grains. Loads of grains. The flavour is more floral, otherwise much the same as the aroma. Loads of grains and sweetness, with a solid spicy bitter finish. It’s wierd, because it’s all in all probably balanced, but all the sweetness hits first, and the bitterness sort of lags and punches you in the face afterwards. Fairly mellow carbonation, with a light bodied, but not thin. Could perhaps do well with more carbonation. All in all, a good pilsner. As most pilsners, this isn’t exciting and extremely complex, but it’s a good take on the style. olsvammel (7241) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAY 15, 2016
On tap at CBC 2016. Light smell, bready and herbal with a floral aroma. Similar taste. Clean. Light and mild but very drinkable. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 16, 2011
From tap @Sundbytunet. Pours hazy gold. Moderate grayish blond head. Fresh grassy hop nose. Also some crisp, fairly dry pale malts. Soft and supercreamy in the mouth. Clean, light sweet and soft malt flavor. Solid bitterness. Grassy and light floral hop flavor. Well-bodied. Nicy grassy hop ending. Top notch Norwegian Pilsner. On tap at Brewpub. Golden colour with a white head. Moderate malty and nice hoppy aroma. It was "difficult" to drink this with the other dark beers there. But some water fixed it. It was a really rich and fresh pils. A crime that this is not comercial available. Rich malt flavour and lovely hoppiness.

In short: A straightforward classic german style thirst lager pushing forward its freshness qualityesp0r (2922) - NORWAY - JUN 24, 2014
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear blond body topped by a medium white head with good retention
In long: Nose is clean, freshly cut hay, light color yeasty fruit esters, some grassy hops. Taste has plenty of fresh cereals, fresh hay, a fruity flavor reminiscent of fruit salad and ends with a mild presence of grassy hops. This is a straightforward thirst blond lager, a beer for those who love the taste of freshness without bells and whistles, a slice of a german brewpub that travelled north. I didn’t try a bottle but the tap version at the brewpub sure deserves better than its current low ratings. A nice session beer, and I have spent enough time in pub-crawling in my lifetime to know I prefer session beers, and I have spent enough time sober in my lifetime to know I prefer drunk.

Very nice pils / kellerbier from Sundbytunet

Draught @ Brewpub. Pours slightly hazy, golden color with a thick white head. Earthy, grainy aroma.
Flavor has light sweetness, malts, mild hops and yeast. Light bodied. Fresh. McWorta (1627) - LUXEMBOURG - AUG 27, 2016
Yellow-blond opaque with a white head. Aromas of straw, hay, floral, grassy notes with subtle flowery undertones and some hints of orange peel lurking around the corner. Could be a tick more tangy but still ok in carbonation, soft texture, light even slender body. Briskly sweet with a well structured fruity hop profile. short-medium finish. Excellent quaffer - enjoyed this a lot!
