0,33 l bottle @ Sünner Keller, Cologne (April 22, 2017). Well, OK this is their traditional bottom fermented lager. Quite nice actually, but not as good as their Kölsch. Less crisp. Pilsener drinkers miss some more hops here. Tastes like top fermented lager.

Ich liebe helle Biere. Aber selten wurde ich so negativ ueberrascht wie hier. Was soll das ? Sirup oder Zucker im Hintergrund, koennte auch Banane sein. Dazu ein Abgang, der an ein alkfreies erinnert. Nein, nein, nein.

Pours out of the bottle in a light clear yellow-golden colour with low airy head and thin body. Aroma of grains and acid. Taste of mild hops, wheat, grains, citrus and bread. Thin and watery, light bitter-acid finish. Not nice.

Mild-süffig im Antrunk. Der Hauptteil ist mild-weich, süßlich-getreidig. Nicht tief, aber vollmindig. Süßlich-getreidig im Ende, nicht zu herb, malzig-vollmundig.
A very nice Lager beer. not watery, highly drinkable and with a full malty flavour. --> 10/12/11/10

Bottle at Sunner Brauhaus, Koln, Germany, Satyrday 29th March 2014 sat out in the Biergarten. Pours sparkling gold with a slim white head and mid carbonation, looks very good. Sweet with a little popcorn, soft in mouth. An easy drinking lager that isn’t so refreshing but still its fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Clear light golden with white head. Grassy, malty and some other grains (wheat). Light fruits: orange and grapes with a touch of tropical fruit too. Medium sweet, good bitter kick. Great medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Very good!

With thanks to a trade with bierkoning. Appearance: Amber, good visible carbonation, tiny white head. Aroma: Caramel, tons of malt, banana and cloves, damp cardboard. Sweet. Flavour: caramel, sweet with cloves, spice, biscuit, some wood too with a long sweet finish. Not bad.

Nice enough lager that if i’d rather drink than fosters, overly sweet for me but i suppose if i was between a rock and a hard place i’d drink it again.

Bottle. Pale yellow with small ring of head. Bready lager yeast with some piss. Taste is quite rank, some nastiness with caramel. Sweet and unpleasant.
