Beach Blonde Pacific Pale Ale
Highly quaffable at 4.4%, it has a brilliant straw blonde appearance.
Its tantalising tropical aroma of mangoes, grapefruit and lychees come from our unique blend of New Zealand, Australian and West Coast American hops. The upfront bitterness gently yields to a light malt body provided by barley that is sourced solely from farms around the brewery.

Kirkas kullankelainen hieman poreileva olut hyvin minimaalisella lyhyell valkoisella vaahdolla. Tuoksu kevyen maltainen, hyvin vihanneksinen ja aavistuksen eksoottisen hedelminen. Maku ei paljoa petraa. Tunkkaisen vihanneksinen ja kevyt, aavistuksen katkera. Ei jatkoon.

Cask at The King and Castle, Kidderminster 09/07/15. Poured hazy amber with white head. Not sure this beer was in great fettle. Aroma was malty offness, light citrus. Taste a bit floral and bitter but not brilliant.

1st May 2015: hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates during their 38th Beer Festival (30 hand-pulls, twice a year). Clear and bright blonde body, on top a white head. Tropical fruit aroma and initial taste, turning mildly bitter in the finish: not bad.

Keg at Craft Beer Rising. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is tropical of peach, passion fruit, mango and some pine. Taste is very similar with a caramel sweetness. Light bodied and a soft carbonation. A short citrus bitterness in the finish. Bittersweet and quiet refreshing.

(Cask at Black Door, 20150211) The beer poured amber and almost clear. Its head was white and small. Aroma had grass, herbalness and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A good bitter showin English hops.

Draught (Black Door, Helsinki)
The alleged aroma simply does not exist. Theres a sweetness, and a touch of copper, thats all. Pale amber, nice tight head, alas not al lasting as Id like, but I dont see liquid at the top even 5 minutes later, so its not a brief head by any means. Palate beautifully soft. Scarily so. Its kinda spooky, but the beer is just hugging and smothering every surface it touches, and no matter ho much I lick, it hugs my tongue in revenge. After the so so smooth malts, no so much hops. Theyre there, and theyre bitter, very bitter. But in the mouth the starches win. But in the finish, the big finish, the hops are pissed off, and showing their pecs. Such a massive bitter finish. That totally cements the 5 palate - body and finish, both are nailed. Herbal and spicy, resiny, theyre big, but all of it feels organic, part of a bigger whole, unlike the inferior brews Ive had this evening, which just did feeble hop shock porn. Perfect example of when overall >> aroma + taste, as it comes together nicely.
