Cask: Regular & bottled
Highly quaffable at 3.7%, it has a brilliant straw blonde appearance.
Introduced as cask 3.7%; a 330ml 4.4% abv bottle version came out early in 2013, and the cask abv was changed to 4.4% abv shortly after the 2013 GBBF.
Its tantalising tropical aroma of mangoes, grapefruit and lychees come from our unique blend of New Zealand, Australian and West Coast American hops. The upfront bitterness gently yields to a light malt body provided by barley that is sourced solely from farms around the brewery.
Malt: Low Colour Pale Malt
Hops: Cascade, Mount Hood, Styrian, Beata, Calypso and Pacific Jade

gnoff (10858) - Göteborg, - MAY 8, 2013
Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on May 7, 2013.
Hazy pale golden color, dense white head. Citrus, hoppy, herbal taste. Herbal aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Citrus, hoppy, herbal, spicy scent, also gauze. When thinking about the scent I couldn’t place reminds me after a while as a mix of dry wall and black currant leaves.
Not bad, especially glad to find a lower ABV beer, but not the beer I wanted for that evening at least. I’d like it with another yeast and likely some other hops, as well as sweeter with a malt residue and perhaps some caramel notes.

Smell of very faint ale. Golden coloir, zero head. Aroma of metal. Flat carbon.

Lilja (3474) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 15, 2013
På fat. Smak och doft av humle, tropisk frukt, lichti, citrus med toner av gräs och örter. Lätt kropp, tydlig beska med smak av tall.

caesar (7169) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 14, 2013
Cask @ gbbf, small sample. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of lemon, citrus, hint of spices (lemongrass). Bit dry taste, hints of ginger. Bit on the dry side.

jookos (6970) - FINLAND - AUG 1, 2013
bottle. clear pale light golden. Murky, wet socks, malts. Light body, watery. I wonder what’s happened with this batch, given the beer’s good ratings. Feels like a light lager that has been sitting for too long. No scent of hops, murky malts. Can’t find a bbe on the bottle, but the soapy tones says it was long ago.

tlind2 (1768) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 1, 2013
[email protected] Terre, Helsinki. Very pale golden color, frothy white head. Blueberryish aroma. Light and refreshing, fruity flavor. Light body, high carbonation. Very nice, especially for the low ABV.

Tide (4221) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2013
Draught at bar. Pale yellow color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, floral hops, tropical fruits, grass and a bit of pine. Bitter finish with citrus and pine. Excellent, refreshing brew.

RexTalionis (3781) - FINLAND - JUL 8, 2013
Bottled. Pours pale yellow in color with a small head. Citrus and vegetables in aroma. Slight tart, bit of vegetables in taste. Meh, something has gone wrong here.

BitchPls (815) - FINLAND - JUL 4, 2013
Clear orange beer with minimal or no head. Fruity citrus aroma. Oh my god. More watery than water. There’s a little bit of bitterness. But the body, oh my gosh how thin it is. Almost no carbonation either. I’ve never experienced such a thin beer. Ridiculously bad.

TET (3176) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2013
A golden beer basicly without head. The nose of strong vegetables, peas, some aromatic tropical fruits in the background. Bad aroma due to vegetables. Taste is biscuity, lots of vegetables, also nice and medium bitterness. Light bodied, fresh anyway. Lots of vegetables, ruined bottle (L13135, BBE 04/14), thus the points are given to this bottle only.
