v284 c5 Keg at the Alehouse, Reading. Pours a dull light amber with a thin white head. Brown bread and pine up front, with lemon and earthiness following. The hoppiness and bitterness of a modern IPA is there but it’s muted, and it lacks the clean finish. It’s pleasant enough and easy to drink, but it’s rather dull and unmemorable and it’s not really an IPA. sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2014
